So I guess Marilyn Manson is back to making shocking music videos. You’ll have to watch the entire video to see what he really means by the above statement. WARNING: It’s not exactly PG-rated.
I’ve always been a fan of Marilyn Manson’s imagery he used to portray in his music videos. But lately, he hasn’t really been putting out anything better then his copycat’s (Lady Gaga anyone?). Of course, now that’s all changed with his split with his record label and release of this new video.
In it, he metaphorically kills his real-life girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood (played by model Kelly Polk). It should be noted that he wrote the song after he and Wood broke up last year. Clearly, if they hadn’t gotten back together I’m sure this video would have never seen the light of day.
