Maxis just released a new addition to their SimCity series a week ago using the new GlassBox engine. With serious up-to-date 3D graphics, all those sick visual effects put you inside a real city with a delightful view of thrilling traffic, economic troubles, and even some tasty city pollution!
The best past is, they’ve finally added a multi-player component for the Microsoft installment. The downside, they totally took out the infinite resource option.
So apparently, the initial release of SimCity on March 5, 2013 in the U.S. had multiple issues regarding the game’s requirement for internet connection. After the game was made available for purchase through EA’s Origin delivery service, the high volume of users trying to download and connect to EA’s game servers caused the network to have massive outages.
Gamers reported problems including long loading times, frequent disconnections, crashing, and losing their saved game data. But don’t worry too much about these reviews, EA should have it fixed in no time…
