It looks like there’s a growing buzz for Sleigh Bells after they performed on Saturday Night Live yesterday. Having seen them live, I was pleasantly surprised that they were the musical guest.
As with any new band with a “new sound” their style is going to be both loved and hated. What do you think?
Some would describe Sleigh Bells as metal-pop music and I would have to agree. It’s not moshable, but it’s definitly something you can move around and dance to. Sort of somewhere in-between heavy and sweet.
It should be noted that the producer for their last album was Derek E. Miller who has worked with M.I.A. Personally, I can’t wait for their new album Reign of Terror which will be released on the 21st.
