New Weezer Feat. Sara Bareillas Video | New Duet Single “I Want You To”

I’ve always been a Weezer fan because of their lack of fear to experiment with other artists and genres. In their latest album Ratitude they collaborate with everyone from Lil Wayne to Jermaine Dupri.

Just days ago the band performed their new single “I Want You To” for Sessions@AOL. The lovely Sara Bareillas (of “Love Song” fame) accompanies them.

Although Ratitude doesn’t live up to the hype in my opinion, it’s certainly worth the $3.99 that it’s currently selling for on iTunes. That being said, I certainly prefer this version of “I Want You To” to the album version of the track.

Most top-40 artists rely heavily on editing, but as you can see from this video Weezer is certainly the exception. Just the fact that a group of nerds has managed to stay relevant for such a long time in the music industry should be enough to put a smile on your face.
