T.I.’s new single “Whatever You Like” is currently at the top of the charts. It’s lyrics, like most rap songs these days, are mainly about being flashy with expensive cars, jewelry, and just about anything else the average American can’t afford.
Trust Weird Al to realize this and release a parody of it. I think we have a repeat of “White N’ Nerdy” in the works.
Rather than impressing his shorty with expensive gifts, Weird Al has taken it upon himself to finally provide a song that any broke boyfriend/spouse can relate to. Instead of lyrics like “I wan’t your body, need your body,” “You like Top Ramen, need Top Ramen” is hilarious in these economic times.
While we may not all be to the point of buying thrift store jeans, Goodwill underwear, and stealing our neighbor’s cable, it’s safe to say that Al has taken this song to a more relateable level. Keep your fingers crossed for a music video release!
