As an Aussie girl of a certain age, I grew up watching Noni Hazelhurst making pipe cleaner animals, singing songs, and reading story books on the popular children’s series Play School. But I’ve never heard her reading anything quite like the latest controversial classic, Go The F*** to Sleep!
Needless to say, the story doesn’t have those polite asterisks to protect delicate ears, although there’s a nice bit of bleeping. However this clip still takes me back to my childhood … it’s just got a bit more edge.
