Most of us don’t trust our banks . This isn’t surprising given how most of them have messed us over in recent years.
In an effort to regain the trust of old and new customers alike, the Norwegian bank Nordnet has created an advert which removes all the fakery and falsehoods seen in most banking ads.
What we get is a guy admitting he’s an actor, walking through an office he admits isn’t real, and shaking hands with another actor who has also never worked in a bank.
The idea is that if we can trust Nordnet to tell the truth in its adverts, we can also trust Nordnet with our money. Perhaps. But they’re still bankers at the end of the day.
