Norton 360 version 5.0 has been released. This video shows someone with the software installed on their computer going through all the different elements contained within it.
Malware is on the increase, and it’s now essential that anyone who is connected to the Internet, no matter what OS their computer runs, has some kind of protection, preferably a firewall and always-on anti-virus software.
Norton 360 version 5.0 is just one option, but there are a ton of others out there. As long as it’s legitimate (not a rogue program that pretends to be protecting your system) and works then it’s inordinately better than having nothing.
A firewall and anti-virus software doesn’t guarantee your system won’t get infected, but it lessens the chances. And if it does happen then you have more chance of repairing your system rather than having to do a full re-installation.
