The White House recently held a Fiesta Latina, a festival celebrating Hispanic music and culture. The President, Barack Obama, and his wife and first lady, Michelle, were obviously in attendance.
But they got more than they bargained for when Mexican pop singer Thalia took to the stage. Halfway through the song, she approached the President’s table and asked him to dance with her. And he did. Very well may I add.
Thalia first says thank you to Michelle for allowing the President to dance the salsa with her but I’m still not sure she was too happy with the situation. Not because she didn’t want Barack dancing with another woman but probably because she feared him making a fool of himself.
In the end though, he didn’t. He broke out a few moves before swiftly heading back to the table. Probably a good decision because it looked as though Thalia wanted to drag him up on stage with her.
