President Obama’s speech to kids will be shown in schools across the U.S. today. And half the country isn’t very happy about it. FOX News wants you to believe this is akin to socialist indoctrination. It isn’t, obviously.
The election of Barack Obama as the President of the United States has been amazing to watch from afar. Not only is it inspiring to see a black man become the most powerful leader in the world, but it’s also funny to watch how insane it has driven Republicans and right-wing nuts.
One of the most controversial issues is Obama’s decision to speak directly to schoolchildren about their responsibilities to the country. The speech has leaked and there’s nothing bad about what he says in the slightest.
But a simple thing such as the facts has never stopped idiots from making wild accusations, as they do in this FOX News video. My reaction to what was said is the same as the sane guy in the middle – laugh at the absurdity of the argument against this speech.
And the funniest thing about this is that the people who are against this speech from Obama being shown to their kids are the same people who want Christianity force fed to their children from a young age for fear they may form a different opinion on religion. Oh, the irony.
