Google announced last week that it was shuttering Google Reader, its RSS feed reader that has been a big fan favorite of Webaholics for many years.
Although some saw it coming — Google had left Reader to rot for a while — the announcement of its imminent demise caused a lot of anguish and anger… and even inspired a song.
This video shows a music video that acts as an ode to Google Reader. Apparently its closure is so disappointing that even the animals are sad about it.
Thankfully there are countless alternatives to Google Reader, so people who use RSS fee readers will be fine. But still, Google has upset a lot of its users with this decision.
