A new animated Disney film is out just in time for the holidays. This is the official trailer for Frozen, which is loosely based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, The Snow Queen.
Frozen tells the story of a kingdom perpetually frozen in ice by the Snow Queen. Determined to reverse this terrible plight is a princess who sets off to find the Snow Queen, who happens to be her sister.
She isn’t alone on this adventure, as that wouldn’t be very Disney. Instead she’s accompanied by a mountain man and a snowman as she sets out to save the world.
Frozen has received some glowing reviews so far, and the trailer even makes me want to see it. Even though I’m far too old and ugly to be the target audience.
