This is the official gameplay video for Grand Theft Auto Online, the multiplayer portion of the upcoming GTA V title, due to be released on September 17.
Although Grand Theft Auto Online will (only) be playable to those who buy GTA V, it’s been set up as a totally separate entity not inextricably linked to the single-player game.
Grand Theft Auto Online is more like an MMO sandbox that players can enter and do whatever they want in. And the video shows some of the seemingly endless possibilities open to players.
You can compete in traditional modes, team up and rob a bank, play golf, go hang-gliding, compete in road races… and much more besides.
