It’s been rumored for months that Apple was building a smaller version of its best-selling iPad, and so it came to pass.
The iPad Mini was unveiled to the world on Oct. 23, and this is the official announcement video showing how the product was forged.
This is a smaller version of the iPad, with a 7.9-inch screen and a cheaper price tag. Unfortunately it’s not that much cheaper to enable ordinary consumers to buy one without first considering its usefulness.
Apple appears to be changing as a company, with more product lines and faster upgrade patterns. Neither of which are a good thing. This is where the influence of Steve Jobs is clearly being missed.
