This is the official trailer for the Playstation Vita, Sony’s newest and most-advanced handheld games console to date. I have to say it looks pretty damn sweet.
The Vita is essentially a pimped out PSP (Playstation Portable), with a much faster processor, more features, and an ability to play better games. As can be seen in this video clip.
Sony needed to come up with something amazing and innovative to stand a chance of succeeding against the Nintendo DS and its latest incarnation the 3DS. Can the Vita do that?
Unfortunately it looks as though the Playstation Vita won’t be released until 2012 now, with Sony blaming a combination of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami and the PS3 hacking attack for the delay.
