Rappers Pharrell and Will.i.am used to be good friends, and can be seen in this video rapping together when they were both younger and keener than they are now.
How times change. They’re now too busy suing each other over supposed trademarks of words and how they’re used together. Which is about as stupid as you can get.
Pharrell recently launched a YouTube channel titled ‘I Am Other’. Which was enough for Will.i.am to send a cease-and-desist letter telling Pharrell to stop infinrging on his trademark. Apparently the Black Eyed Peas frontman thinks he owns the rights to everything with an “I Am” element in it.
The two look set to battle this out in court. truly pathetic behavior from two millionaires with limited talented.
