The London 2012 Olympics has now officially kicked off, with the opening ceremony beginning two weeks of competitive sporting events.
This video, posted to YouTube before the opening ceremony was staged, shows how Next Media Animation expected the event to go. After all Danny Boyle couldn’t keep everything a secret.
The predictions ranged from Buckingham Palace soldiers appearing, the Queen swimming in a teacup, Paddington Bear, David Beckham, and The Beatles. Some of which were, inconceivably, accurate.
If you haven’t yet watched the London 2012 opening ceremony then I suggest you do. I must admit to feeling a little bit of national pride at the spectacle. And that’s from an old cynic!
