Ok, I had to watch this twice to see what they were talking about, and even as I type this write-up, my eyes are still playing the tricks on me that this video was intended to create.
When I watched it the first time, I thought it was nothing… what a waste of my time! Then, I read the last paragraph and that is when I realized what the illusion was.
I had to go back and watch it that second time and try to see through the trick, and definitely, I could see how my eyes fooled my brain.
Crazy! It’s like the whole thing about the moon looking larger when it is on the horizon, because it is a trick of the eye that things on the horizon are closer. The moon, in fact, is not closer to the earth when it hovers on the horizon.
