Depending on the budget, weddings can be simple affairs or extravagant ceremonies. The bride and groom get to choose all the elements they want and can afford. And yet no one ever seems to choose to get wed on the backs of ostriches.
Or maybe they do.
This video shows snatches of the wedding between Wang Mei-yun and Hung Chen-Chih, a young Taiwanese couple who seem at first sight to be the same as any other young couple about to get married.
However, that changes when they mount a pair of ostriches to take their wedding vows. They apparently beat 42 other couples for the honor of getting wed on the ostriches, but why they’d actually want to is beyond me.
Still, they look happy, and I guess that’s all that really counts.
