They say that people’s dogs really do look like them; if that is the case, I’m in big trouble, because that means that I’m big, hairy and clumsy, and I drool a lot.
These images show incredibly canny resemblances between owner and pet, and the kids’ images are even better… and cuter.
I wonder how this happens. Do we unconsciously seek out something that looks similar or familiar to us? Do we see something in the dog that reminds us of… well… us in some way?
It is a strange coincidence that this sentiment is more often true than not; it must be something in the cosmos. But it definitely wouldn’t be a comfort to me if someone informed me that my dog and I looked alike.
