Driving under the influence is no laughing matter. But drunk people are often high comedy. Take this clip of a guy who just got stopped for DUI, for example. He doesn’t even make it to the sobriety test.
You can tell he’s not going to fare well on the test by the way he stumbles around the parking lot. Then the cop asks him to help him lay out a line for him to walk, and he ends up going down head-first on the pavement. Ouch!
Maybe the cops could save some time by conducting the sobriety test that way. Then when the drunk knocks himself out, they can just throw him in the car and haul him on in.
