Like geeks all over the world the idea of recreating scenes from the Star Wars movies, dressing up in costumes included, appealed to Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. The difference being they actually gave it a go. Kinda.
We get to see Simon Pegg dressed up as C-3PO and Nick Frost dressed up as R2-D2. Well, as correctly as any sane human being can dress up as a couple of comedy robots, obviously.
Unfortunately the duo’s plans to recreate every scene in all six of the Star Wars movies doesn’t quite come off, and they end up arguing after just one supposedly simple scene. The best laid plans and all that.
In reality this is just a viral video designed to promote their new alien movie Paul, but it’s worth watching so I don’t mind playing along and posting it. Especially as Paul itself is also worth watching.
