A number of people have been killed in a terror attack in Hanau, near Frankfurt, Germany.
The terrorist, believed to be a right-wing extremist, shot several people who were sitting, minding their own business, in shisha bars.
At least nine people have been killed, with several others injured. Police later discovered the German suspect dead at his home in Hanau.
The suspect is believed to have held extreme right-wing views, leading the authorities to suspect a xenophobic motive behind the attack.
Most of the victims are believed to have been Turkish immigrants, which adds weight to the idea that racism was behind the attack.
