I should like Perez Hilton. After all, he’s a fellow blogger and one who has managed to turn blogging into a full-time job and a means to become a celebrity in his own right. But I don’t like him. In fact, I can’t stand the guy.
Perez Hilton recently claimed Will.i.am or someone from the Black Eyed Peas entourage assaulted him outside the Cobra nightclub. But it was his method of asking for help – Twittering about it – and his overemotional video posting about the incident which has caused the headlines.
Will.i.am has denied Perez was assaulted, and posted his own video explaining what happened. Although violence is never the answer, Perez seems to have started it all by having a pop at Fergie before calling Will.i.am “a f***ing faggot.”
If Hilton did really get punched in the eye then whoever did it needs to be punished. But the hysteric video posting describing the attack which then turns into a foul-mouthed rant will not gain Perez much sympathy. In fact, some would say he deserved a slap and has done for years.
