One of the greatest British actors of all time, Pete Postlethwaite, has died at the age of 64 after a long battle with cancer.
Postlethwaite enjoyed a 40-year career on stage and screen. This included stints in regional theater, with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and in Hollywood working on blockbusters with great directors.
He is probably best known for his performance as Giuseppe Conlon in In The Name Of The Father. He also starred in Brassed Off, The Usual Suspects, Jurassic Park, and Inception, amongst many others.
Postlethwaite is survived by his wife and two children. He’ll be missed not only by them but also by the world of acting, with the tributes pouring in from all around the world.
