Peter Steele, lead singer with heavy metal band Type O Negative, has died at the tender age of just 48 after suffering heart failure on April 14.
This video, though uploaded to YouTube a couple of years ago, acts as a kind of tribute to Steele, showing a speed painting of him being done using Photoshop.
Type O Negative have been going since 1990, although Steele and several other band members have been playing music together for a lot longer, beginning in the early 1980s when they were just teenagers.
Strangely, Steele’s death was foreshadowed by rumormongering a few years ago which suggested the frontman had died. Those reports proved to be false, but this time it seems real, with family and friends confirming the news.
Steele will be sorely missed by people who knew him and his multitude of fans.
