That woman who became a man but then still had all the components needed to carry a baby and give birth has split from his/her wife.
Thomas Beatie became something of a celebrity when he became pregnant in 2007. He decided to have carry children to term when his wife Nancy discovered she couldn’t.
Beatie was labeled the world’s first pregnant man as a result of undergoing gender reassignment but retaining the female reproductive system. Pictures of a bearded man with a clearly pregnant belly caused a stir in conservative America.
It appears Beatie has now separated from Nancy. He revealed the news while also stating he had undergone the final genre reassignment surgery. So it’s unlikely he’ll be fathering/mothering any more children.
