High-fives can be very awkward or very smooth depending on how well your ability to assess the greeting is. If you’re like me, then you’ve had plenty of ball-and-sockets, foul tips, and killers.
Oh, you don’t know what those are? Then you’ll need to watch this guide on proper high-five etiquette before it’s too late.
I don’t know if it’s a generation gap or if the high-five is simply just underground at the moment, but I don’t seem to use it as often as I did in the 90’s. Every time one does appear out of the blue, I always seem to make a mess out of it.
While this video portrays adults re-enacting the situations, I really could have used something like this when I was 10 years old and high-fiving every day of my life. Come to think of it, this clip lacks the famous “up high, down low, too slow” maneuver that I used to fall for at that age.
