All of us hold different political views, and it’s good that we have the right to hold these, and to vote accordingly for the best candidate when elections come around.
However, when one of the candidates is black, as is the case with the race for the White House between Barack Obama and John McCain, it can become racist rather than political.
This video shows what Mike Lunsford, a McCain supporter from Ohio, has done in his front garden to show his support: hung an effigy of Barack Obama from a tree.
There are obvious overtones of the Ku Klux Klan here, and the guy even admits (though not on camera) to doing it because he’s a racist. And clearly an idiot to boot.
I can’t actually believe there are still people like this in the world, who will judge someone purely on the colour of their skin. Is there no way of removing his right to vote?
