Mamoudou Gassama is a real-life Spider-Man who has understandably been labelled a hero. And if you watch the video you’ll see why.
Gassama scaled four stories of a building in Paris, France to rescue a little kid who was dangling over the edge. And without any regard for his personal safety.
It turns out that Gassama is an undocumented migrant from Mali. So by doing what he did he risked exposing himself to the authorities, and being deported.
Thankfully, rather than deport him, President Macron is giving him French citizenship. And we can surely all agree he deserves it after this daring rescue.
