I know a lot of people, especially in the United States, aren’t the biggest fans of Russia. It was that whole Cold War thing that did it – the U.S.S.R. and communism and all that jazz that ruined it.
But hang on, the Cold War is well and truly over, the U.S.S.R. is dead, and communism is less of a force than it once was. Which means we can now all concentrate on why we love Russia. And this video gives us plenty of reasons.
The range of reasons on display, and video clips to correspond with them, is far-reaching. We see naked men, excessive drinking, shoddy workmanship, bad driving, and some truly strange stuff to boot.
This video actually shows how similar we all are rather than our differences. Most of these clips could actually have been videoed anywhere in the world. But they’re Russia. And it makes me love the place.
