Red: The G-Funk Homeless Beatboxer Video | He Sounds Better Than T-Pain

35 sec read

As a resident of Atlanta, I stumble across homeless panhandlers every day. Sometimes, they’re playing an instrument, but usually they just ask for change with a fabricated sob story.

Red, on the other hand, deserves every last penny he gets in this video. His singing and beatboxing abilities give T-Pain a run for his money.

I didn’t know it was humanly possible to sing as if using a vocoder, beat-box, and freestyle a verse at the same time. You’d think he was using some sort of music equipment to achieve the sounds that fly out of his mouth, but no; everything is natural. All it would take for him to entertain a crowd would be a mic.

Of course what’s really sad it that, as talented as he is, the poor man still can’t afford a place to stay. At the end of the video he asks those watching to help him get signed and he doesn’t even have a car when he walks away.
