Richard Harrison from Pawn Stars, commonly referred to as “The Old Man” has died at the age of 77. Harrison had been battling Parkinson’s disease for some years.
Harrison found fame later in life as one of the stars of Pawn Stars, a reality show set in the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas.
Harrison opened in the shop in the 1980s after serving in the Navy. He was eventually joined by his son and grandson.
Pawn Stars was one of the first big breakout scripted reality shows, and the source for some of The History Channel’s highest ratings.
