Hate gay people? Love Jesus? Then vote for Rick Perry as President of the United States. And there was I thinking George W. Bush was the biggest redneck ever likely to make office.
I personally don’t know anyone who is against gay people serving in the military. Because most people realize sexuality is unimportant. But not Rick Perry.
I also know people from a range of backgrounds and religions. And most are aware that there is life outside of their faith and their belief system. But not Rick Perry.
I have nothing against Christians. And everyone is entitled to their own views on homosexuality. But to come out with such glib statements such as those uttered by Perry in this campaign video is just wrong.
And this is apparently the best the Republicans can put up against Obama. How unfortunate.
