It’s been a few years since Ricky Gervais shaved off the goatee and stopped making us all cringe as David Brent. But this week he popped up on the U.S. version of The Office in a small cameo.
Brent met Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell, and though the meeting only lasted a minute the pair found common ground and realized they were made for each other.
We had the English accent mocked, politically incorrect impressions of Chinese people, and Brent finally asking for a job with Scott’s company.
Carell is leaving The Office soon, and who better to take over as the head honcho than Gervais? I can’t see it happening, but it would be fantastic if it did.
