Last week saw the end of one of my favorite TV shows; one that has punctuated every summer of my life for the last 10 years.
I am, of course, talking about Big Brother UK, which closed its doors for the last time (at least in its current form and on its current channel) with Brian Dowling being named as the Ultimate Big Brother champion.
This video offers a mere glimpse at the events of the past 10 years. After all, the show ran for about three months every year, with an hour-long show every night during its run. Sure, there were boring bits, but was also some genuine gold.
I’m sorry to see Big Brother go, although I suspect it’ll pop up again in some form or other. And yet part of me is glad, as I regain valuable time every year to do with what I want. That can’t be a bad thing, can it?
