R.I.P. Rapper Dolla Video | Fatally Shot Outside Beverly Hills Mall

Today is a sad day for family, friends, and fans of Atlanta rapper Dolla. Roderick Anthony Burton II, who was only 21, was gunned down at a Beverly Hills mall yesterday while taking a break from recording his first rap album for Akon’s Konvict Muzik label.

In regards to the trend of violence in the hip-hop industry, Dolla’s uncle can be seen in this heartbreaking clip saying, “Too many [people] are losing their children…this gotta stop.”

So far no one has been arrested, but the police have a suspect into custody who was trying to escape at LAX airport still carrying a gun. Dolla was known as a both a model for Sean Jean clothing and an up-and-coming rap artist. His breakout music video can be seen below.
