Robin Gibb, one of the three brothers who comprised the Bee Gees, has died at the tender age of just 62.
Robin Gibb was the group’s main singer during the early part of their career, eventually ceding the position to his brother Barry when the Bee Gees rode the crest of the disco wave.
Gibb passed away after a long battle with cancer that ravaged his body in a very clear way. Even before his diagnosis his gaunt appearance suggested all was not well.
The Bee Gees were an incredible force in the music business for 50 years, both with their own hits and composing songs for other high-profile artists. Barry is now the only surviving member.
