Roger Federer, current tennis superstar and possibly the greatest player that has ever lived, recently got lobbed by a 12-year-old kid. That’s gotta smart.
Federer aggressively approached the net, giving the kid an opportunity to lift the ball over his head. And he did just that with spectacular style.
There are two ways of looking at this. Either the kid is a future tennis star who legitimately lobbed Roger Federer, or Federer went easy on him, letting him do this to give him something to dine out on for years.
I tend to think it’s somewhere in the middle. After all, I couldn’t have lob Federer, no matter how easy on me he was being.
