When you see a romantic comedy you know what you’re going to get. Two ridiculously pretty people will hate one another but by the end of an hour and a half they’ll fall in love. But not before she falls down.
It’s probably not a rom com cliché that you’ve considered, but this montage will convince you; it’s not a romantic comedy til the chick takes a tumble.
I suppose the idea here is that the viewers will relate to the stunner if she’s a klutz. She’s got to have some flaws, right? Either that or the directors know we all enjoy seeing someone falling over.
