Crowds loved it in Sundance, and now that the trailer for Derek Connolly and Colin Treverrow’s new movie Safety Not Guaranteed has hit the web I’m excited about this quirky time travel flick.
The movie sees a group of journalists investigating a presumed crackpot looking for a time traveling companion. It could easily have gotten silly, but this movie looks to have the right amount of heart to suck us in. And it’s got that guy from New Girl and that girl from Parks and Recreation, so how could it go wrong?
No doubt its producers will hope they’ve got another Little Miss Sunshine on their hands. Do you think Safety Not Guaranteed can replicate its success?
