News anchor Sam Rubin committed a faux pas when he confused Samuel L. Jackson with Laurence Fishburne. Oops.
Jackson goes way too far in trying to embarrass Rubin. So, he made a mistake and thought Jackson had been in an advert he’d seen probably once ever. So what?
It was a simple, innocent mistake, and Rubin really didn’t deserve the roasting he received for it. Jackson seemed to seize on it and turn it into a race thing, when I’m sure race had nothing to do with it.
I know I’ve personally confused actors before, suggesting one was great in a movie they actually never appeared in. It just so happens I didn’t do so to the actor’s face.
