The entire city of San Francisco was in a state of bliss when a tad bit of snow fell last night at 10:45 AM.
According to this news clip it hasn’t snowed since the 70’s in San Fran, however, it should be noted that there were flurries in 1999 and in 2006.
What surprised me the most about the news about snow in San Fran wasn’t the actual snow, but the people’s reactions. People driving to be with their husbands and wives before the snow, people standing outside with newly bought jackets, cars stuck on roads, and even T-shirts made!
Since the temperature was 31 degrees Fahrenheit (barely freezing) and there wasn’t much precipitation, most of it wont stick and should be gone within the next 30 hours or so.
