Perhaps Santa Claus should just stick to his sleigh. Because when the big man tries to make a very extreme entrance, as he does in this video, things go horribly awry.
I’m really not sure why Santa’s repelling down a rope, and once he gets a bit halfway down I’ll bet he’s wondering the same thing. That big white beard is a bit of a job hazard, especially when ropes are involved!
Saint Nick’s got a choice here. He can stay dangling, suspended up in the air, or he can sacrifice his dignity and shatter the illusions of the youngsters to get down. There’s really no contest, is there?
