Of all mainstream comics on TV, Sarah Silverman has the right to be a little aggravated. First her speech at TED was shunned and never posted online by the site’s creator and, more recently, her show The Sarah Silverman Show was cancelled.
Here’s her interview she gave on ‘Real Time with Bill Maher’ last week. Not surprisingly, Sarah seems tad more serious than usual.
I’ve always been a fan of Sarah since her stand-up movie “Jesus Is Magic” was released. There just aren’t many women comics (even male comics for that matter) that have the guts to poke around at subjects like sexism and racism as brutally as she.
At the rate that it’s going, her TED talk will probably never see the light of day. Her book ‘The Bedwetter,’ on the other hand, is out right now and getting rave reviews.
