Ever since the re-cut trailer of Mary Poppins became a hit on YouTube, other video editing buffs have tried the concept with various hit movies.
Take this one for example, that turns the once family-friendly movie Home Alone into a thrilling horror film.
Whoever took the time to do this really has some skill. The seamless editing is enough to fool an entirely new generation of kids (who have never seen Home Alone before) into thinking that this is a new horror movie.
Until now, I never really noticed how violent this PG-rated blockbuster was. There’s plenty of falling, guns, fires, and screaming that really set the mood right. Even the ending is perfect. The words “Home Alone” never sounded scarier.
