Kayaking wouldn’t usually be considered an extreme sport. Even most rapids are fairly safe to navigate, and it’s the really big ones that are going to cause experienced kayakers problems.
However, once you take your kayak into a drainage ditch then it’s an extreme sport. No arguments.
This guy has a camera on him when he does just that, and captures the whole thing on film. It looks scary but also exciting. And you can see by the look on his face how exhilarating he’s finding it.
I can’t say I’d like to travel that fast down a drainage ditch. I’m a wuss and would be scared. Especially as if the kayak flipped over it would be one hell of a painful experience.
