This video will make me watch my step even more closely the next time I travel by train. This guy should thank his lucky stars that there was one very brave man waiting on the platform.
I can’t quite work out why this guy was stupid enough to walk backwards on a train platform. But the moment he falls onto the tracks is sickening, especially as it looks like he injures his back in the process.
I guess that’s why he was unable to get up and on to the platform himself, despite a train heading straight for him. Luckily an off-duty policeman was on the platform and willing to risk his own life to save this stranger’s.
I hope the guy who fell is OK, and I hope the man who did the saving has been thanked and rewarded for his act of bravery.
