At least 30 people have been killed, and an additional 70 injured, after a fireworks market in Mexico exploded.
Fire spread through the San Pablito fireworks market in Tultepec, Mexico, after some pyrotechnics ignited. And that set off a chain reaction.
This video shows the devastation as it’s happening, with fireworks going off left, right, and center. Eventually thick smoke is seen billowing up from the scene.
Unsurprisingly, this incident has killed and injured scores of people. Some children were taken to hospitals over the border in the U.S. after suffering 90% burns to their bodies.
We make sure to tell children not to play with fireworks, but this is what happens when they’re the ones making them.
