Cars are increasingly being used as weapons, with terrorists targeting innocent people by driving vehicles into heavily populated areas.
Yesterday, a man named Richard Rojas drove his car into a crowd of people in Times Square, New York. And while it isn’t being considered a terror attack, it did leave one person dead.
This video shows bystanders and eyewitnesses describing events, and explaining their thoughts and feelings about the horror they saw unfolding.
Rojas, who is thought to have been high on synthetic marijuana at the time, has been charged with second-degree murder, aggravated vehicular homicide, and attempted murder.
